The light shatters and disperses the tattoo ink into tiny particles that your body absorbs. Your body’s natural lymphatic system then eliminates the ink over time. Multiple treatment sessions are likely to be necessary to achieve the desired results.

First, we'll schedule a consultation to discuss your expectations, measure your tattoo, go over pricing, and provide realistic quotes for how many sessions your removal might require. We'll go through everything you'll need to know, including before- and aftercare, pain management, and what to expect during the procedure itself. Next, we'll get you in the books and get that removal process started!
Tattoo removal almost always requires multiple sessions to achieve the desired result, and are typically spaced approximately 6-8 weeks apart to allow full healing between sessions.
Does tattoo removal hurt?
In a word: yes. Many people compare the pain of tattoo removal to being snapped on the skin with hot rubber bands. The good news, however, is the treatment is over much more quickly than with a tattoo. We can also discuss the use of numbing agents prior to your session to help minimize the pain you will experience during the procedure.
What is the aftercare process like?
Caring for your skin after a tattoo removal session is similar to caring for your skin after a tattoo session. You'll want to avoid the sun, be sure to keep the area clean and dry, stay hydrated, and protect your skin with sunblock. A more detailed aftercare routine will be provided to you during your consultation and again after your first session and any subsequent sessions you would require.
